Feel the wrapper of your cigar well, it should be smooth and tight for the cigar to be considered of good quality. If you notice that everything about the cigar is to your liking but the wrapper which is just slightly torn or exposed, do not buy it. Such a sign is representative of the bad quality or bad condition of the cigar.

If you are going to buy a cigar then you probably know a bit about tobacco leaves already, but if you have just begun, then you will find it a bit difficult to understand the quality of the tobacco leaves inside. An easy way to check the quality and determine whether or not the cigar has a good blend of the three layers of leaves is by inspecting the end of your cigar. Inspect carefully to take note of any sudden or unusual color change that might be visible. If you do find such a trend in the cigar, you will have to let it go as this feature indicates ill-blended tobacco leaves.
